Up and coming rap label, Babygrande is making moves in the hip-hop by announcing two big signings to their roster. Canibus has signed a one-project deal with the label, which is tentatively titled; Rip the Jacker featuring The Enemy of Mankind. The album is said to be a concept album and will be entirely produced by Stoupe The Enemy of Mankind, the producer behind underground hip-hop group, Jedi Mind Tricks.

Can't say I've heard anything from Stoupe The Enemy of Mankind, but hopefully he can make this project work and put Canibus in the right direction.

yo stoupe is from around where i live and his production and beatz ya'll is nasty....the newest album he did jedo mind tricks is nice, i would advise ya'll to cop it....this should b tight as hell, canibus and stoup....theres also a group signed to the label outerspace....they from philly too, ans they nice too...hollllla

I just received this e-mail from an admin. at canibus-central.com:

Dear Fans,

The silence has been broken, and Canibus is scheduled to release his fourth
album on November 19, 2002, which is entitled Mic Club the Cirriculum. This is
has apparently come out of the blue, and has some people wondering what will the
content of this next release will be like. I guess we will have to wait and see,
and the street team will be in affect very shortly so don’t worry, I have made
various geographical assessments, and personal observations of who will receive
the necessary street team promotional material.

Most us were anticipating Spring of next year, but this came as a big surprise
for us, so please stayed tuned.

First off, I want to thank all of you for supporting Canibus, and Canibus-Central.com. This album is still scheduled to Drop on Nov. 19, 2002 MiClub: Da Curriculum. (Note: This album is completely different from the Canibus album that is being produced by Stoupe, which is scheduled to release the Spring of 03’). The album will be featuring. Kool G Rap(Hip-Hop Legend)who spits 64 bars :-o , Jedi Mind Tricks, and some other hot features :-D For all of the fans who are worried about the availability of the album, it was recently drawn to my attention that it will be sold in all major music stores everywhere. In addition, to the album release there will be the jump off of www.Micclub.net within a week, which will contain a smorgasbord of surprises, so please stayed tuned for the NEWS UPDATES. I am also going to be guest on the “Sports Rap” Radio Show here at the University of Maryland on Thursday from 9:00pm to 10:00pm Eastern Time(www.wmucsports.com Click on broadband or modem users for a live feed) , I will be talking about the about the future plans of the site, mainly just promoting the new album, and there is a high possibility of there being an exclusive track being played while I am on the show. You can also hit us up with questions, on the AIM name WMUCSPORTS(Note: This is mainly a sports show, but be patient and wait for my segment and feel free to hit us up on the AIM). wow this canibus is what the last one should have been instead of the wack slim shady shit. the beats might not be what he sounds best over but his battle rap side is back...
