If Crooked is looking to do what's best for his family 1st, he may want to rethink this brilliant marketing strategy. Do you think he made money off the hip hop weekly's? That was just for some re-exposure, as well as holding his fans over until he could drop the album. How do you think he's making money right now? Don't you think he'd make more money with a single, album, etc out to the general public? Homie's rhymes are tight as fuck, but he's no Dr. Dre and hasn't earned the luxury that Dre has of taking so damn long to release an album without the fans getting fed up (and the fans are even talking down on Dre's lack of an album release now as well, so you can imagine how we feel about Crooked I's situation).

Bottom line is: Don't make promises you can't keep. Especially if it was only 3 weeks ago! Did a lot really change in Crooked's life in the last 3 weeks stopping him from dropping the single as promised? I doubt it.
