Gary Dourdan was arrested early Tuesday morning in Palm Springs.

TMZ.com reports that the 'CSI' star was booked on possession of heroin, ecstacy, cocaine and other prescription drugs. The Web site reports that Dourdan was found sleeping in his car, taken in by the police and released on $5000 bail.

'CSI' actor Gary Dourdan was arrested for alleged drug possession in the early hours of April 28. Authorities say they found the actor sleeping in an improperly parked car with cocaine, heroin, ecstasy and prescription pills in his possession.ecstasy and prescription drugs. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the actor was asleep in his car at 5:21 AM when they approached the vehicle and made the bust.

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. - "CSI" co-star Gary Dourdan has been charged with felony possession of heroin, cocaine and ecstasy stemming from his arrest last month, prosecutors said. Today!

The 41-year-old actor was arrested after police found him asleep in his car in Palm Springs on April 28. He was allegedly parked on the wrong side of the street with the car's interior light on.

Prosecutors said Dourdan is scheduled to appear in court in Indio, about 130 miles east of Los Angeles, on May 28. The criminal complaint was dated Tuesday.

A call to Dourdan's attorneys wasn't immediately returned early Thursday.

Dourdan has played crime scene investigator Warrick Brown on CBS' "CSI" since 2000.
