It's Offical Nas is out.


Yo I was laughuing my ass off as soon as I got home today from the record store...lol
It was weird cause most peep's have already bootleged this lp and have had it for months now.
First when they were new (2000-2002), then when they were compiled for this compilation. Danmm!! Nas was BOOTLEGED twice.

U know u ain't right....go copp (Buy) this shitt, it's a sounding hella deep. Nas at his best fo' real, but then again yall already know, cause you have had it for month's now...lol

Yup, I picked it up today, got all Nas's material in original format. I never bootleg though, well, I consider bootlegging downloading or buying an album the flogging burned copies for money. If I really like an album I will always buy an official copy eventually, I like owning all the official artwork and being able to read the credits and stuff. And I gotta add, the artwork for "The Lost Tapes" is really dope, I especially like the way they've made the actual CD look like a CD-R

This album is AMAZING.........quite possibly a classic, and possibly better than Stillmatic.

Well in Canada I got "Every Ghetto" as the only bonus track on Stillmatic and I think the Americans got the same.

I got it today too and this is one of the dopest albums ever. I only heard like 3 songs off it before but damn the other tracks like My Way,Nothing lasts forever,Purple and everybody's crazu are amazing, I literally was   after I listened to it

Thats the whole point.........this album DOESNT sound like a compilation of old songs, it sounds like a new studio album, and thats the beauty of it. I dont know who put this album together, but whoever did so did a fabulous job. This album is even better than Stillmatic, and Stillmatic is a sickass album. But Lost Tapes is packed with gems from top to bottom.

this release kinda reminds me of illmatic how it come through, everyone is sleepin on it because there is no flashy video or anything, just imagine if we never heard these tracks and they were all new 2 us,, this is the real stillmatic

Yeah, I got 2 bonus tracks on my version, "No Idea's Original" and "Everybody's Crazy". But the version of "No Idea's Original" on "The Lost Tapes" is the OG version, not the same version that appeared on the European release of "Stillmatic".
