It cracks me up when I see people buying ANYTHING with a Wu-sticker on it, even if they haven't heard the name of the artist before.
Not only do they have a big clothing-line, but they got about 50 branch-off artist or what they call it..
The Clan made a whole industry, it's pretty unique actually.

Wu is indeed unique but as far as buying their stuff, I stick to the Wu Tang Clan OG's like Raekwon,Method Man, RZA etc...
The only Wu Fam cd's I have are Killarmy's first one and Shyheim's Manchild which is real dope

Ah, gotta love the Wu. They are definatly one of the top 5 hip hop groups of all time. Few groups have had the impact they have. From 93' to 97', all their albums were lyrical and musical masterpieces, and none of them sound alike. RZA switched up his production on each album, and he put out a brilliant cd each time out. I know everyone loves Dre on this board, but I think RZA is even better. "Only Built 4 Cuban Linx" is, in my opinion, quite possibly the greatest produced hip hop album ever.........I mean, EVERY beat on that album is sick, whether its the mafiaso setting of "Knowledge God", the hard hitting "Criminology", the tragic "Rainy Days", or the voice sampling combined with scratching in "Ice Water".......BRILLIANT album, and in my opinion, the best Wu album ever made [yes, even better than 36 Chambers], and one of the best albums ever made PERIOD. Of course, all the other Wu albums from that time period were great too, in their own way.

36 Chambers - 5 mics
Tical - 4 mics
Return To The 36 Chambers - 4.5 mics
Only Built 4 Cuban Linx - 5 mics
Liquid Swords - 5 mics
Ironman - 4.5 mics
Wu Tang Forever - 4.5 mics

^^^Those are the only Wu albums you need. There are other good ones, but the ones above are pretty much the cream of the crop.

Hellrazor, totally feel what u sayin, Only Built WAS a HIP HOP CLASSIC. Probably the best produced album ever, people say it's in the top five, but personally i can't think of any other album that's as Atmospheric as that one.

Killarmy's first album was fuckin tight, i need to check both Shyheims War/child

i got pretty much every wu tang album, and wu members solo's, but not many Wu Affiliated. I don't think it's stupid, they jus like a record label, ya'll don't hate if someone signs up with Doggystyle, so why hate if someone signs with Wu Tang???

Black Knights Album is tyte, they from the westcoast, they got their own style/flow but they still on wu tang label. U shouldn't Connect Wu Tang Affiliates with wu tang, cuz they totally different. they jus under the same label. Killarmy ain't nothing like the wu tang. Yet people think they jus the same.

Fuck the haters, Wu Tang IS one of the best Hip hop groups out there.

That was a serious run of dope albums.  I never really liked Tical all that much and I thought that Tical 2000 was heavily watered down.  The W is an album I love and I think is mad underrated, they just needed to get rid the guests.  I think that Iron Flag is their weakest album.
