Playing in the Garden wasn't as bad as I thought. We definitely had lots of great moments tonight. It wasn't a Celtic domination by any means and I know they were sweating a few times throughout the game. I think we had a tougher time on Utah's court.

Plus I got the feeling this is the best Boston will get. Lakers still have a chance.

And also, remember. The "Boston Massacre."

was not complete domination it was a good game 

it wasn't even a domination... yet that's more acceptable. It was a good game. Pierce coming back after that fall was a good emotional lift. But up until then the last of the 4th, it was still anybody's game.

C's are 11-1 at home in the playoffs

Utah had a better home record than Boston... and they lost at home to us. It can happen...

Ok. Celtics made an impressive effort on defence. For real, i'm impressed. They deserved to win. Let's keep the faith in Phil Jackson. He'll study Game-1.

I think that they've emotionally shot their wad.... and Pierce's knee is going to swell like a muthafucka for the next few days. The Rocky moment was nice for game 1, but there are 7 games in this series.

I'm surprised no one mentioned the TERRIBLE officiating...Lakers will NOT win 5-on-8. Shit better be different in LA...That said, I'm not worried at all. We played like complete shit, got terrible calls down the stretch, and still had a chance to win. We're gunna win the next one in Boston, then the next 3 at home...PeACe

i know they gave sasha vujachic love when he bricked that 3 pointer in the corner and he got the whistle on K.G. so he drew that foul went to the line and knocked down 3 ft's

then odom drove into the lane and bumped into a celtic on purpose and threw up a wild shot lol they gave him love on that 2

Yeah the officiating wasnt biased at all,  some Laker fans are just using it as a excuse but yeah the game was called fairly for sure.

Why is Doc Rivers so bad at coaching a basketball team? He's been doing it for a while. He REALLY has to play House instead of Cassell. Everybody knows that.

It was just the old-ass Dick Bavetta who made horrible calls. On both sides of the floor. He's just old, he ain't the same one no more. That's why they gave him Game-1 and not Game-5, 6 or 7. He's still the most respected one, but he's done. Anyway we gotta keep it real: Celtics won not because of those calls, but because they played better than us.
