The only edge Boston is in D . but Lakers have been very good in this sector too .. plus Boston hasn't played a great offense yet ..

i wouldn't be suprised if the lakers swept this series...honestly. we've already proved we can win in the two hardest places to play....which is utah and san antonio. boston fans are a bunch of band wagon jumpers so i don't see them having home court has any effect on what will probably happen. i can see the celts getting maybe one game maybe game 2 or 4 but overall i'm pretty confident in the lakers. the boston celtics are a joke, and like the spurs lose favor the longer this series goes.

kobe can easily stop allen and pierce and there's no way pierce nor allen are going to contain Mamba
odom and gasol and going to bother perkins/brown/garnett with their length quickness and passing ability


boston is a good half court defensive team, but not that great in transition. expect the lakers to run all over the celts


the bench of the lakers is going to overwhelm  boston, too much speed too much poise.

Key thing here, the Lakers are 2-8 against the Celtics in the NBA finals, but have won 2 of 3 in the 80's. It's time to even things out a little. We need to beat them a lot more than that, but a 3-1 advantage since the modern era of the NBA started is nice. And to get 15 titles to their 16 is one more thing to get the stats in our favor. Lets keep the Celtics reaching for 17, as that was such a huge deal that Rick Fox wore 17 in honor of his time as a Celtic trying for that 17th Boston title.

when talking about the series everybody tries to scare me like the Celtics are who they are 20 years ago

I'm confident the Lakers can win because their games compared to the Celtics playoff games have looked more impressive

I think Boston is a bit overrated, that being said they could still beat the Lakers no doubt

I just feel they're not gonna get it done, that's why I bet $200 on the Lakers with numerous people, they better come through

I'm glad you brought that up. Fisher's defense has been sick as hell this post-season. He hasn't necessarily shut anybody down but he's bothered the fuck out of all of them (especially Deron Williams who I thought would've been the toughest competition unless we played the Hornets).
