I think that's why he doesn't get the props he deserves as a producer is because people don't think he's really producin, they think he's just puttin his name on it.  I forgot another great song he produced......

"Rock City" Royce da 5'9"

Same thing people say about Dre..."Oh, he just puts his name on beats that arent his"...People dont understand there's more too production than playing the intruments...Overseeing is what production is about...

Em never produced Rock CIty......

He co-produced it. I think many people hate on him as a producer cuz his beats are very rock-influenced. The first time I heard "White America" the first few seconds sounded like the beginning of a fuckin Papa Roach track to me and I'm not surprised about many hiphop fans not likin that. But a lot of people overlook the skills he definitely has due to that

I agree. But as others have said, he's not the only one that gets that. People just don't wanna give him recognition most of the time, their just haters...

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.

Just because his beats are rock influence should not make him a bad producer.  He brings more diversity to hip-hop which is good.

Of course Dre mixing beats makes them better, ask Daz. But Eminem is coming into his own. Soon he can do Shady Records by himself with the knowledge he gained from Dre and be on his own, like Daz did, and Snoop did busness wise.

And as for the Rock influenes. I'm a big fan of regional sounds, and Detriot is two things, it's the home of Motown soul, and it's Rock City. So by having Detroit production mix Rock, I think that puts a very unique sound to that region, and gives it a sound to call their own. Like Long Beach Funk, Bay Siccness, N.Y. Hip-Hop, Miami Bass, St. Louis Country, L.A. Gangsta, New Orlands Beats By The Pound sound and other regions. It's all good for rap music.

word... I heard him say somewhere before he writes the lyrics for a track, he already has the idea of how the beat will go in his head, and that's why he produces most of his shit...LoL

I write my lyrics to a beat in my head, and then I start to create the beat (and then I might rearrange the lyrics to fit the beat better, if it's a really dope beat).
