Ehh, did someone say Fuck Nas yet?
And as far as I can remember 85% of the people didn't like Ja Rule doing a song with Snoop.
And being on <ONE> (Well, NONE actually) song is a little different than actually SIGNING with the label where Ja Rule is the headliner.

*Heartbreaking*

I just got to say that I believe the man when he was dissing Def Jam, and the establishment that was holding down real hip-hop. I believed the man was doing good, talking about KRS like a respect vet, talking about hip-hop block parties, now this. Fucken hypocrite. It isn't a matter of music, Tha Row can have 3 straight 5 mic albums, but if you a bitch, then you get treated like a bitch, and all that matters to me is if you are telling the truth. Fuck the Eastcoast right now, the only way real hip-hop will comeback is if the West puts it back on with Xzibit, Dilated Peoples, Jurassic 5, Ras Kass, Dr. Dre with Rakim, hell even DPG with Daz, Snoop and them, and for sure, The Whole Damn Yay (I mean Bay too, not just the group) making real music and putting that to for front. Nas sold out, but all that means is one less fake ass bitch repressing hip-hop. It was almost better if Jigga had ended Nas, 'cause at least we knew were Jigga at, Nas turned his back on us quick.

Ive never treaded NAS as this naturally established hiphop Masaiah (even tho he came in '94 wit the trully amazing Illmatic ). Ive always thought that this whole business of presenting NAS as some kinda hiphop saviour, lately, was as fake as it may get. It was a desperate cry from heads who looked for someone to gloryfy-and who was better for the job than  mr. Illmatic who was once crowned and credited as one of the best lyricists ever.
I want yall peepz to get something right, NO tha fact he joined Murder inc as it is- doesn't disturb me(no metter how wack they are known to come), we just all know it is probablly going to effect his music...as long as he was sticking to his hiphop savior- political-knowledge spitten persona(no metter how fabricated, fake and full of contradictions it was-) we had a chance to see him more focused lyriclly and structurewise than throughout the majority of his releases throughout his career, but now he has probably comeeted one of the bigest mistakes he ever made- he contradicted the Basis to his whole fabricated, self created  image of "NAS"<<This is prolly going to turn out to be LETHAL.
We are all human beings isn't that a good enough reason for peace?

...but what about KRS-One's plan?
« Reply #26 on: August 12, 2002, 02:32:13 PM »
I'm not too bothered by Nas teaming up with Murder Inc., and I'll still keep on buying his records (as long as there aren't any Ja Rule, Ashanti, etc. collaborations), but what really bothers me is how Nas was supposedly meeting with KRS-One and a bunch of other real heads to plan a way to destroy Nelly (and all of the other fake rappers).

Oh, well. It was a nice thought while it lasted. . .

Kurupt with Death Row?
Nas with Murder Inc.?

What are these people thinking???  I just now started to like Nas after hearing "Stillmatic".  I can't imagine him rapping over Irv Gotti's wack beats.

/me shakes is head in COMPLETE dissapointment

This is the worst news this year. Remember that line y'all, "....It's Always Forward I'm Moving, Never Backwards, Stupid...", well to me it looks like he's moving backwards right now, backwards to the times of "Nastradamus"  :P. I don't blame anyone for calling him out to be a hyporcrit now, this is one senseless move for him. What about the concept and message of "One Mic", and other songs on "Stillmatic", and all the revolutionary like things he was saying about the current state of hip-hop, and now he's bragging about making more money, what an ass. He's gonna need to step up his game again to impress his real fans and keep them true to him. I can't believe this. I just hope he stays away from Irv Gotti's recycled jacked beats and has minus appearences from the other artists on Murder Inc (which looks doubtful after this track).
Oh well, guess i'll just have to wait and let the music speak for itself before I make a solid judgement. I hope he knows what he's doing.......

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.
