Not Suprised
Album Was Wack

that...and what kind of promotion did they have? "I Like The Way She Do It" was the only thing out to the public.

yeah and once that single flopped, they quickly rushed out that gay ass "Rider Pt. 2" video and that didn't even get them much play, lol... don't get it twisted, I love that song, but that video was too much and looked extremely gay...

not surprised by the sales either... album was average

yea they threw out that old ass song. same as what u said, dont get me wrong i liked that song, but why put a song u released with a mixtape and thats been out for the LONGEST time. dumb move by the unit.

once The Game outsells G-Unit the excuse will be "Oh it's not fair competition, it's a solo artist VS a group, he needs to outsell 50"

That's completely true. When Game outsells 50, and Game out sells G-Unit with BWS, is the ONLY way Game can say he won. Both those will probably never happen. You can't compare 50 and Game. 50's a business man and manages a record label, puts out albums. Game has a shitty label, and hasn't release any albums on it (other then his own). 50's in a much better place in music these days, and so are the people around him.

Game's record also probably cost maybe triple or more to make. All those features and producers cost a lot of money, not to mention the huge promotion it'll get.

Promotion isn't about singles or videos, it's about advertising, magazines, and all that other crap. Any artist can make a video, but promoting an album costs more then the album costs to make.

Hey 50 has no problem letting people know how many records he sells so each time out it's put up or shut up for me. Game too. They all run around acting like they cracked the Matrix into how to make consumers buy their product. Ok, so now what will be the reason.

being a business man is cool, but lets remember that this is about putting out the best product for the consumer to buy.  This shitty album/mixtape was the first mistake.   The lack of promotion(which if it was good would have been good for the consumers,  which i feel was preety good( just as good as games if not better)  Hell they were all over the radio whether it was an interview, Curtis all over the radio talking about how he gon push game shit back, the tape convo which was huge promotion, or the controversial ti diss which ringed across the country through every dj around.  Not to mention being on 106 and park twice in one week and  the making of their video being on bet twice.   The consumer wants quality music and they did not deliver for some reason. That reason is if they floped :o which they knew was in the making they can blame it on how raw and gutta the music is, which this cd is not any more raw than say a fat joe album (kitty cat, close to me, like the way she do it, chase da cat and party aint over, ETC) far from gutta

HA HA HA i told you this nigga was a G-Unit stan!

First of all if GAME (solo artist) outsells a GROUP..HOW IN THE FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK CAN U SAY THAT GAME IS NOT WINNING? ARE U FUCKIN SERIOUS WHITEBOY??

SECOND OF ALL. Game did not pay for any of the artist on the album...on Doctors Advocate he only payed 2-3 artist which was Busta Rhymes and someone more. He said it and Snoop, Dogg Pound said it

Not on this album either. He only pays for some of the artist.

*waits for dude to say "When did Game become credible wit anythng he says* lmao like theres a reason to lie about that

This nigga stays with G-Units dick in their mouth

If i fight with 3 niggaz and i know..how the fuck can u not say that I WIN? Ure fucking stupid as fuck u dumb ass muthafucka

And who the fuck cares about WHO MAKES THE SPEND THE MOST FROM THE BUDGET???

The fact is if Game outsells them he wins..he's 1 fucking artist thats gone against 4 G-Unit members + the sidekicks like Spider Loc, MOP and Mobb Deep!

But the question is... Who makes the best music?

this isn't surprising. but then again i think 50 knew this wasn't gonna sell. it wasn't promoted and had no kind of budget for production. and then the small fact that tony yayo is all over it, so even if it was potentially good then it's automatically garbage. even on his crappy curtis lp, 50 dropped a hot single to make sure it had a decent first week.

more than likely 50 and the unit aren't on very good terms with jimmy any more and 50 is wanting to get off the label cause his ego has become way too big and he's completely forgot what (more like who) made him mega-popular in the first place.

Got what they deserved:

- album budget of a mixtape
- same old predictable singles formula, same subject matter as in 03, no growth
- 50 wasn't even there for the most part of the promotion, he was shooting a movie and you know nobody gives a fuck about Banks and Yayo
- the cd must have been made in like 2 months, 50 probably wants to get off Interscope as soon as possible, allowing Banks & Yayo to get some dough in the process
- I can already see the exuse: "the album material was too agressive to be accepted by the general public/ demographic" from 50's favorite book "how to sound articulate and stay a G"
