"If I Ruled The World" by Nas

It doesn't get any better then that.  It has the baddest female in it, Lauryn Hill, it was a pop hit that still permeated with street knowledge.  It came out at one of the illest stages in hip-hop's lifetime, 1996, when Dre left the Row and started working with East Coast artists, and the East Coast West Coast War was in full swing with West Side Connection setting to blow up, all this ish was going down, the Biggie 2pac beef, it was crazy ya'll, best song of that summer as well, ill video, peace.

"One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

I'm gonna have to go with Big Poppa.  I know it ain't even an important song, but that's a legend right there.  I hate this pick 1 stuff though, because I always got about a dozen songs in any category that are about equally perfect in my mind.
