no point in takin it personally.

it's stupid tho, i got white friends who hate it when rappers say 'N****' in songs, they find it offensive...but for what reason, i dont know....

Cams stupid tho, esp since it's mostly white people that got him in his position he's in now...personally i don't like him cuz his music's shit, but that IMO

I was watching a T.V show about this the other day. they were talking about the exact same thing, double standards in racism. Like that baseball player John Rocker who's from tha braves.. he gets shitted on alot for sayin racist comments. But then you got Mike Tyson... he'll tell reporters shit like "You Pussy Ass White Boy.. I'll Eat Your Fuckin Kids White Boy.. PUSSY!".... you know, Mike alwayz says shit like that and nobody ever gets on him.

That Camron thing is kind of different though. If you read his rap he's talking about not working for white people. He's on Roc-A-Fella... supposibly owned by black people and he's just sayin that he's not about making the White Man rich with his music.

Tha thing that you all got to understand though is that Black people and other minorities are oppressed. It aint like they're just whining to be whining. I know it wasn't your generation of white people who were making them slaves n shit but still... it did happen. It's like... that's tha LEAST ya'll can do... just take a couple negative comments, a couple racial slurs... aint no biggie... at least you aint pickin cotton, gettin raped, in 100 degree weather.

Tha shit he's sayin aint even all that offensive... check it out...

"I'll be damned if I work for some white cracker (shit)
White batter, prize in the pack, fiends love
They hug it, call it Cracker Jacks, KILLA
Where the crack is at, watch me get dem dice
Throw 'em on, let me live my life"

1st line: He's saying he won't work for a white man. Most likely becuase of tha oppression and also simply just because nobody likes being used.

2nd & 3rd Line: He's sayin he's not a sell out. He aint gonna front just to blow up.

4th and 5th Lines: He's sayin he's gonna make his money the way he knows how.. even if it means hustling. He doesn't want to live his life the way tha goverment (white people) want him too...He's just tryna live... Just let him live..

It's okay when Outkast, Ras Kass, and Snoop say it.

But when Camron says it it's wrong and I'm pissed, and I'd call him on it.  Camron is just a typical middle class black kid I see everyday, he should be working UPS and going to Community College.

I wonder if the same people crying about rappers talking about crackers get in an uproar about the same rapper talking about killing niggas, and smacking bitches.

If you listen to cam and thats what offends you, your soft anyway, he has way worse shit on there about women and other black men anyway.

Recommended Listening:  Da Lench Mob - "Buck the Devil"

racism shouldn't be allowed full stop...a lot of u would be pissed if eminem started sayin fuck the black man...and 'WHITE POWER'

so why's it ok for black people to do pretty much the same???

rappers have a go at white people for oppresion...but think about it, white people have the right to look down on them, because rap is hardly a civilised kind of art now is it? black people talk about equality, but then the main thing that promates black culture is rap...and generally when someone hears the word rap. they hear black angry youth's...and so white people are hardly gonna respect them....
