It could be a little to much with a whole album,so I donīt want that.
I was thinking in more in the direction of mixing West Coast Gangster Rap with East Coast Hip Hop.
It might not always turn out for the good,maybe restrict it to EPīs so the projects might actually get done. 
Some examples could be;
-MC Ren and DJ Premier.
-Ice Cube and Marley Marl
-Kurupt and Pete Rock (in "works" but still...  )
-WC and Large Professor

Well all of those cats you mentioned are not on a major label so it is not impossible. Duck Down does it, Real Talk Ent does it, Muggs is doing it, although both pair producer and rapper from the same coast sometimes but it is done from time to time. But I agree, more mainstream rappers should at least try it.
