I still would rather have Obama elected president than a war monger with borderline dementia like McCain.

You all  need to worry about the real issues.

and what are the "real" issues?

The economy, health care, the war.

Not whether the nigga can't count. It's irrelevant considering we have a president now that can't even speak english and it's his first language.

This is a record breaking thread - I'm still not done counting all the fallacies.

Listen junior, in a time of an economic recession, it seemed to me that Mitt Romney would've been the best of the candidates to handle the situation. Now that he's out of the picture, Obama is the next best choice, seeing that McCain has basically adopted Bush's policies.

Here is a hint....... raising income taxes, capital gains taxes, and payroll taxes is the last thing you want to do during during a slowing economy. But Obama is going to do just that. He also refuses to allow us to expand drilling for oil in the US because he is scared of environmenntal wackos. That will really help bring down the prices of gas!

Refuses to expand drilling for oil? You actually think that's a good idea. Let me tell you something, drilling for more oil will not lower the price of gas. Even if they find the oil, put the rig up, and stick a pipeline in, which could take more then a decade, it won't solve any of our problems. The sheer fact you think finding new sources of oil is a solution to anything, is ignorant. The US needs a short term solution to lower prices, and a long term solution which doesn't involve oil at all.

Not to mention, Barack Obama has been proven to be wrong on the issue of Iraq. Obama OPPOSED the whole surge last year where the US sent tons of extra troops to help stabilize Iraq. Guess what? The surge was a huge success and the violence has been drastically decreased over there and things are tremendously improving. If Obama had his way, we would have pulled our troops and Iraq would be in the middle of chaos and war right now.

Oh Obama was proven wrong? You're pretty stupid aren't you. Seeing that going into Iraq at all was a terribly bad idea. Seeing that Bush and everyone around him lied to you about the reasons to go to Iraq. The fact is Obama was right all along. The surge was not a good idea, because it solves nothing and gains nothing. The violence present in Iraq is because the US invaded in the first place. The fact is everyone who supported the war was wrong, and by supporting a surge, doesn't make you right. It doesn't matter if the violence subsided. The whole premise of winning the war is pointless. You can't win a war when the people you're fighting ("terrorists" and "Al Qaeda") aren't even in Iraq. And the fact you believe the government really shows your stupidity. Isn't Bush the one who said Saddam had WMD's. How did that turn out? Fools never learn.

You're right that nothing shows Obama will make a better President. But when you actually use your mind, and think, you'll realize Obama is more likely to do a better job. Seeing that Bush, the war, his policies put the US into a reccession, and since McCain is basically Bush Pt 2., what's to say 4 more years of Bush's policies will help anyone?

You have a common mental illness shared by many people in America, it's a combination of pride, ignorance, and probably religion. Not only do you not learn from the mistakes of your government, you seem to think oil and war are the solutions to everything. Drilling for oil will not lower the price of gas/oil, and invading Iraq will not stop terrorism. You need to leave your country once and a while and get an education.

It seems that people like you tend to agree with the uneducated type, Bush, McCain, most Republicans. While you refer to the educated, like Obama, or Al Gore, as wacko's, or idiots. Stupid people tend to disagree with smart people, because they simply don't understand. Such as you're gross over simplification of drilling for oil, will lower the price. Or the fact you don't agree with environmentalists. The reason so many people don't agree with environmentalists, is because they don't know anything about the environment, or pollution, or global warming. Stupid people vote for stupid people because that's all they understand. People like you, who don't use common sense, are the reason this country is fucked. Education is the key, go get some.
