Grammy-nominated rapper Snoop Dogg has been named a possible defense witness to a 2005 shooting between two other rappers.

According to the Associated Press, a defense witness list began earlier this week for San Francisco rapper Andre “Mac Minister” Dow who listed Snoop (born Cordozar Calivn Broadus Jr.) amongst 20 other names.

The shooting is believed to have been the result of a West Coast versus Midwest war as Dow is being accused of murdering a Kansas City local rapper named Anthony “Fat Tone” Watkins and his friend Jermaine Atkins in May 2005.

As of now, court officials have ruled that Snoop has yet to be officially scheduled or subpoenaed for the trial.

Also included in the list is rapper Tone Capone and Las Vegas deejay Franzen Wong.

Exactly.

Supposidly they used Snoop....they told Fat Tone that Snoop wanted to get down with him and they were taking him to see Snoop and then Mac Minister supposidly handled business from there.....that's what I was always told anyways....
