Judge Revoked C-Murder's Bond

A judge has revoked the $2 million bond for rapper C-Murder after prosecutors said he tried to have friends contact witnesses in his murder trial.

Prosecutors said the rapper used a cell phone smuggled into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center to call friends to have them either "harm or influence witnesses."

The younger brother of No Limit Records founder Master P is charged with the January shooting of 16-year-old Steve Thomas. Authorities said there were many witnesses to the crime, but they've been reluctant to come forward because of C-Murder's reputation as a gangsta rapper.

A sheriff's office spokesman said two deputies at the facility have been fired because they were linked to the cell phone that was smuggled in.
