After reading that Lil Wayne may be featured on the much anticipated DETOX (no comments lmao), I decided to make this thread so that everyone can express their opinion about this man. or to some of us this monkey.

I hate Lil Wayne because of his music. Simply as that.

I don't need to talk about how he dress, how he talk, how he act. Since he is not capable to drop a consistent CD and brags about being the best rapper alive when people of his generation like Game, Kanye, Jeezy or Lupe drop classics, he is simply wack to me.

He's like a lot of rappers - the odd moment of brilliance, lots of average performances and some awful ideas as well. He's the kind of rapper a lot of people hate automatically because the 'stans' insist on praising him automatically. As I've said several times, he's neither as good or as bad as the respective camps make out. But 'Tha Carter III' was genuinely a pretty good album.

If anyone could coax a classic perfomance out of him, it would be Dre. He doesn't need Wayne on Detox to help it sell: if he really has decided to put him on there, it's because the two of them together have cooked up something special.

I don´t really liked Weezy before "The Carter III" but his last album change my whole view on dude. "Tie My Hands" and "Mr. Carter" are two of my fav tracks this year, I also totally feel "Shoot Me Down", "3 Peat", "Dr. Carter" and "Let The Beat Build". I know his voice and flow can be really annoying sometimes but overall he is a dope rapper, especially from the lyrical point of view. Of course this whole "Best Rapper Alive" jabbering is bullshit, but he´s definitely a dope rapper. I do not know if I really want to hear him on "Detox" though

Personnaly I don't give a damn about a guy who's got good tracks here, and there. If you are not capable to drop a good album with no fillers from track 1 to track XX you're not a good rapper.

Point blank. If you don't know how to make a god damn album, how to structure the tracklist, you are just bad.

I don't judge about songs, but about albums, and it looks like Lil Wayne don't know about making goods ones.

Game & Kanye. Carter1/2/3 are not on the same level as Documentary/Doctor's Advocate/College Dropout/Late Registration/Graduation.

Lil Wayne is just about swag and image, he got no lyrics, 80 % of his beats are just mid-quality beats. Maybe he can do a good album, but he need someone to executive produce that, it's obvious that he don't have the shoulders to do that himself.
