Check this out man. Get on Kazaa or WinMx or Morpheus or whatever you use to "pirate" mp3's and video's and shit, lol, and lookup software. I would go with COOLEDIT. I've never worked with Acid Pro so I can't give you my opinion on that. You can find the full version of COOLEDIT on any of those napster-like pirate programs. Thats how I got my CoolEdit. Pz!

What kind of mic do you have? I recommend the Shure SM-58 (for vocals), with a Midiman (M-Audio) Audio Buddy mic preamp (to get the vocal signal louder).
