^ I was one of the "erection getters" when Raw Footage leaked and I'm still very happy with the record.  I think it's a grower but more on that later 

I liked 9 out of 15 tracks from Raw Footage.... that´s pretty good if you ask me. 

I saw that but I couldn't believe you didn't like Hood Mentality 

I like the lyrics,not sure about his delivery style on this. The beat is alright,the hook is WAK... too bad,because the lyrics is on point. 

I really enjoy the hook. Simple but effective IMO   And the woman in the background tears it up...Oh yeahhhh.  Nice build up.

Luna, you gonna release the interview closer to the album release date?  Sounds like a good idea to me

I'm going to review this also in due time but I'll probably go track by track with it.  All I can say at this point in time is that it's a very good album 

do you like it more than Sonic Jihad?

I think as of now it is right on par with Sonic Jihad and that is one of my favorite hip hop albums of all time.  Every song is great or really good IMO. 

PARIS' ACID REFLEX

Well,another album that is pretty dope all the way trough,so there's really no need for breaking it down track by track.
It's what I can expected from Paris,hard beats and lyrics. Love the way he incoperates news reports from TV/Radio and speeches.
I only had it rotation for a day... but I believe my rating will land somewhere around;
3.5 out of 5

when i heard that Acid Reflex got pushed back, i didn't want to wait until October to hear the album for the first time, so i decided to check out the advance ( i will buy the album when it finally drops by the way).

as expected it's a pretty solid album: raw production, content, great delivery and dope sampled speeches etc.
however, with the exception of Don't stop the movement there are no tracks that i really like.

i mean, for example, with Sonic Jihad i had:

Field Nigga Boogie
Lay Low
Awol
What Would You Do


and with Rebirth of a nation i had:

Raw Shit
Hard Rhymin'
Rise
Hard Truth Soldiers
Make it Hardcore

and i also felt that the hooks of a few songs weren't right; for example the one from So What , Get fired up and Acid Reflex.


not sure what exact rating would be in place, but i assume it would be around 7/10

yep,I got same feeling  ... it's a bunch of speeches over dope beats.... but hardly any tracks. 

man i wish Paris would add one or two tracks now that the album got delayed; unfortunately that's not going to happen
