Yes, everyone associates that shoe with him because he is basically the face of the advertisement.  So unofficially, they are "his" shoe.  Same goes with the Huarache 2k4 and 2k5.  I'm not sure which shoe (2K4 or 2k5), was supposed to be his sig shoe but the whole rape case forced Nike to make it a general bball shoe.
