That's intersting that Dre said the Marshall Mathers LP was the closest he's ever come to making a perfect album.

That's really a great credit to Eminem, that Dre thinks Em's record was better than debuts from Snoop, 50, DOC, the NWA records, and even his own first solo album.

Grow up is sick as fuck.....very unique, perfect kinda song for a dude like Bishop......I think all he meant was it was leaked too early.....but thats a great song, Dre's a fool if he thinks differently

How reliable is the poster on that forum though ? Dre doesn't let songs leak just like that...

That guy is Oliver Wang, he posts a lot on the soulstrut.com forums... he's written for Scratch and other shit, interviewed Snoop when Snoop appeared in Scratch, the guy also brought out the book 'Classic Material' which goes through a load of classic Hip-Hop albums

Why the fuck did he ask "What were you doing in 1993?" though, what a stupid question! Just google that shit, waste of a Dre question

Looks like the plan has changed to bringing out Detox first though, seeing as Grow Up was meant to have a video and in that last interview Bishop was saying that Dre had 2 months to finish up to meet a Dec release

Also, the interviewer made a post on another web site and said that Dre said the Grow up song was a mistake and shouldn't have leaked.

Though Dr Dre has proved over and over that he likes to completely change plans, so I doubt Bishop is making it all up

well several release dates/plans revealed by bishop turned out to be false.
