people are always gonna be swept up with the hype and popular opinion. around here that is that game is the truth. there are a LOT of diehard game fans on this forum as well as the majority who will ride the hype. well, the truth is that he's alright but his lyrics have always been average at best. having said that he knows how to pick good beats, has a strong delivery and has collabs with some of the tightest rappers. for those reasons his music is generally very entertaining. his simple, funky rhymes are a good throwback and he's a rapper i'd always check for.

however, to make any kind of statements about any of his albums being amazing or classics (even his first one) is over the top. i guess it depends what kind of standards you have. as far as new music coming out he's cool though.
