The Game - LAX Final numbers FIRST Week Sales 222,844

LAX Sold Out in stores in Vancouver.  I think Geffen dropped the ball here.  But, Game still the second highest selling rapper this year.

I'm sure Game wanted it to sell more the first week out but those numbers still aren't bad.  Geffen really didn't promote the album (as with his previous ones).  I was surprised that he didn't hit 300k but I thought the album was dope and that's all that matters to me.  Plus, it's good look for the West because nobody is going to be pushing those kind of numbers anytime soon.

LEts think about it: If Game cant push 300 plus on his last Album, with a Top 20 Single, With actually 3 singles which get a lot of airplay everywhere on bet/mtv, radio Stations.... What you think a Glasses, J-Rock, Spider, Lil E, Ya Boy or a Bishop will sell? They actually wont get deals from major labels and wont get release dates.

sux that this album didnt open up first week as strong as DOC or DA, DA had a bit more sales from what i remember.... but like people said on ealier posts the industry is messed up its tough to sell alot of albums with leaks on the internet

word that album is crack. anyways since when is selling 200k + a flop??? when all ya'll favorite wack ass rappers drop albums [plies etc.] and they push 100k everybody be talking: he did 100k first week, thats crazy! half yall dudes on this forum be talkin about how 500k should be the new platinum and how 250k should be the new gold lol, i guess hate really confuses people. LAX=best album of 2008.
