In April 2008 we updated you on Oaklands own Renz Julian for the first time in just over a year to announce a Pre-Album Mixtape "Armageddon" that we released for free download just three months later, if you missed it download it here.

Since then Renz Julian has been putting the finishing touches to his album of the same name that is due soon via Field of Dreamz Ent./RNLG/Koch Entertainment.


Today we have a brand new single from the album that is sure to build the albums buzz over the coming weeks. Renz Julian has aligned with platinum selling artist Twista and super producer Mr. Collipark (Soulja Boy, Pitbull, Mike Jones) for a brand new track entitled "Pop N' Lock." This is a Bay Area/Midwest/Atlanta collaboration that is sure to heat up the clubs and the airwaves nationwide and add to Renz' already numerous spins on stations such as 106.1 KMEL San Francisco, 103.5 KBMB Sacramento, 97.7 KWIN Stockton and Sirius Radio.
