you do realise that those words can be interpreted in so many ways
i mean, for example, it could be that the tracks he scrapped reminded him too much of his old work (that he feels that he needs to reinvent himself more)

but i admit that Eminem's comments feed my skepticism

I believe this album will be wack.  The only reason I have encore is because my girl at the time bought it for me.  I listened to that shit once and never again.  Shit was garbage.  The only good thing on that CD was hearing Dre rap.

Well that's another reason to not wait for an Aftermath release, propably 3-4 good tracks to put on your playlist as alway nowadays.

why do they act like everyone is anticipating his new shit?

I haven't given a shit about a new release from him since he dropped the first Marshall Mathers LP......

He just sold out so damn quick man....it was nuts.....

then he started only using his own production.....sheesh....that was a really  bad move.....

you know what though, I did like some of the stuff he produced on that 8 mile soundtrack.....I don't know man....i guess I was excited to hear that he was supposed to have recorded a new track with Premier, but now that it's scrapped who cares?? 

I liked the Em Show a lot, but everything else I agree with.

I could care less about this album. This guy isn't trying to expand artistically. He's trying to be down with blacks or whatever. That's the way it seems anyway with all the Premier, Quik joints that are rumoured. Leave those for mixtapes. If he wanted to make a real "album" he'd pick on producer and work with him, and create something solid. Someinthing unified, instead of a compilation. Call up Rick Rubin, or Butch Vig. Think outside the box and make something special. Bring his ideas to Jack White and let him play around with it a bit. Then and only then would I be excited.
