Opinions on LAX after one month
« on: September 23, 2008, 05:00:07 PM »
I'm still bumping it a lot, my favorite track is probably "Let Us Live". Can't get enough of it. For me, it's the best release in 2008 so far. No weak tracks, even "House Of Pain" growed on me.

My rating: 4,5 out of 5 stars

What are your thoughts?

Very dope album.  Still in the car.  It's hard to say which song is my favorite because I like them all.  The only song that I don't really bump that often is "Touchdown".  I'd say it's 4.75 out of 5.  I would have given it a 5 if he would have replaced the intro, outro, and skit with another song.

Am I the only one who thinks "Touchdown" is great? One of the best tracks on the album!

Definitely not one of the best songs on the album.  The beat and hook were ok but the way he delivered his verses became to repetitive for me.  It's cool for one verse to have emphasis at the end of each line but a whole song was too much.

I have listened to the album almost everyday on the iPod since it dropped, and none of it is old or overplayed to me yet  8)

songs like "House Of Pain" and "Touchdown" also have grown on me ALOT, even though I never thought they were wack, they weren't as bangin' to me then as they are now

Good album with some bangers. I'd give it a 4.5. Not quite a classic, nothing really ground breaking but very entertaing and keeps ya wanting to bump it every now and then.

Defiantly a contender for release of 2008

Word. That track goes hard on the sub-woofers!

Still got LAX in heavy rotation, very solid album.
