They sound hella dope.Siendo Mexicano, chicano rap never really appealed to me because of its repetitiveness and deficiency of skills. A.K.A the lack of flow, simple ass rhyme schemes, annoying voices, lack of truelyricists, and no creativity. Sure, the same thing can be said about hip-hop in general, but the difference is that there are alternatives, in the chicano rap scene, not so much. Add to the fact that some of these fools are race hating, and there legitimacy plummets even further. It's like watching a bad movie over and over. They need a new director to present a more expansive story, and actors that can play characters with depth. It's not that chicano rappers don't have skills, it's that they're suppressed by the gangs to promote an image of toughness and fake virility. But at least there are a few, like Jacken, that present a better path for others to follow. But in reality, all of hip-hop has the problem that chicano rap has, and that is that the majority is whack, and only a minority has true skill.
