[this rumor is fake] Its Official: Bishop Lamont Got Dropped

He is going to sign for some internet label or something, and I heard he is still on track to drop another free mixtape in 2008 so you will still hear new material from him.

I saw the rumour start about 12 hours ago on future producers and ive asked for some denial or confirmation from his camp - will keep you posted

No surprise here. I've always been saying that Bishop falls more into the Hittman, Rakim, King T, Joel Ortiz... category and not your 50 Cents, Games or Bustas label. Then you had Em but he's white, so that changes everything.

Aftemath is pretty much done; you have 50 who is on his last album on Interscope, Eminem whos probably gonna release 1 more album and retire and Dre.

makes sense as it looks like 50 is actually gonna drop an album instead of bishop and they are gonna be pushing detox/eminem after that. no time for bishop unless he'd want to wait till 2010/2011...

A lot less actually. They have no say in releasing material and they've basically got one producer who is working for them (nit including any ghost producers).
