Obama/Biden vs. McCain/Palin
« on: October 29, 2008, 09:58:07 AM »
This topic can also be used for general discussion as to why someone is going to make or not make it.

Note that this topic is positive and not normative. It's not about who's "better" or who "should" make it in your opinion, but who is actually going to make it.

I think McCain is actually closer than many people would like to imagine. Obama'll take it though, and I'm still not sure whether he's the lesser evil... He controls the media though.

if mc cain wins it will be some disturbing shit

he could die in the next 2 weeks, you really want palin runnin the country?

the only way mc cain will win is if everyone thinks obama will win and wont vote, or if some terror threat emerges.

Obama is going to win easily, not even by a close margin either.

I really want Obama to win but i fear Mccain will take this without a doubt, wouldn't want to mess up the tradition of having old white guys in office or anything.

Looks like McCain is done to me. Over here you don't even get a whole lot of news on this topic, as it doesn't seem too interesting since Obama is owning. He got the media so on lock, it's not even funny. I feel like there's 10 Obama articles for every McCain article.

Check this blog out.  It was started by a baseball advance statistics expert, and he basically has a similiar approach to the elections that have been going on since the primaries.  He's been very accurate with his numbers crunching.

Yeah, nice page. If Obama wins Florida or Ohio, it's curtains.

For the past 30 years, the media has declared the democrat as the winner. Aside from '92 and '96, it turned out they were wrong. Obama has a hold on the media like I have never seen, and he might be able to actually get the youth to vote, which is how he will win.

It's looking good for him but Gore got fucked and Bush got a second term so it's really hard for me to feel confident about any decisions our country makes..

I know this is bullshit, but the votes were stollen by Bush..especially in FLORDIA..and some other state.
