SOR was better imo.  because it was his major debut, it felt to me as if he was more raw and really didnt care as much about sales compared to his second release.  thus with more pressure from the label to have success after ridin dirty, almost constricted cham's style to try harder to focus on making a cross over hit rather than making an album that evolved of the platform SOR was...instead he tried so hard that so many songs sounded a like....variation in the beats lacked, hooks were good but seemed to frequent giving the album a sense he was using his biggest attribute for a lost cause...(we all know the hooks is what gets sales today, accompanied with a bull shit beat that his nursery sounds in it).

i dont blame cham, UV was still really good....especially compared to the music coming out these days.  i just wish he would have a better compilation, rather than going in one direction.  getting different producers from different regions is a start....

UV is near classic, if not a classic. only filler on that album is bill colecter. this is when cham got away from that balla type rap and started being more political and making songs with concepts. a lot of people say he was better being a metaphor type rapper but i prefer him maturing to UV than his past.

i agree with you guys, but lets not make this into one of those threads, they just go on pages & pages of the same non-sense.
both of em r tight...but t.i. has way more fillers on his albums than cham...

Ultimate Victory (the song)?
Standing Ovation?

some of them fit different peoples taste. like some say Rocky Road was wack, but others say it was dope.

just hope he brings a lil mixture of Sound Of Revenge & Ulitmate Victory on Venom. 8)
