A butterfly chased into a corner
a Butterfly robbed of its dust
can no longer fly as high
as it once thought it must
The Butterfly landed with the greatest of ease
on the pillow of a child whose father had a disease
and thought to herself if he could just have this dust
then fly away he might but fly away he must
so she rubbed the dust on the back of Eazy
while he was lightly sleeping
she told him go home daddy go home
for your too sick to stay here anymore
and one day then he couldn't breathe
but he found to his delight he had grown wings
and could leave in the night when his family was sleep
and could travel and roam and then come home
but the dust on a butterfly doesn't last long
and so God decides after awhile to carry him home
He puts him to bed,kisses him on the head
sweetly because the child in him likes to roam
then a pure note sings on in the night
a pure note that we cannot fight
one to pure for human ears to hear
one so sweet that makes our ears delight
Gratefully,gracefully,we call daddy we are home
and the butterfly wings we don't need anymore
the little child cries alone in her bed,but now she knows
her Father has gone home instead...........11523 R.I.P
