federal agents would never let u get out of a fed case in return for testifying (not even giving a name, just stating what happened the night) of a pity, LOCAL murder   people who know what's up with the system would also point out how stupid that makes u sound..

i'm pretty sure "the Feds" would allow TI to testify against somebody in a murder case, so what that they aren't investigations led by the same organisation. that doesn't mean shit.

no, it's about common sense. he did make a deal to avoid jail time - to complete community service and avoid jail time that way. No, the feds would never let any criminal get off in a case if they agreed to help them out with a local case - a SMALLER case. It doesn't work that way. T.I. would have needed to help with a case of either the same size or bigger; they don't do "downgrade" deals.

on top of it, he didn't say any names; he didn't know who did this - he didn't point the finger at the suspects - he just gave his account of that night.

the real snitch in the case is 1 of the 2 suspects; snitching on his own blood brother.

In most cases a gag order would be issued by opposing party (sorry yall with the legal terms, kinda is my job lol) not allowing TI for example to speak. A smart laywer would do that if they even thought a plea was being worked on. But I am really not that familiar with this case to speak in detail about it but it rarely if ever happens like this though.

Bottom line is it is the FEDS so I guess unless they REALLY wanted to put away someone for a loooong time in a local case, that is the only way I see that going down letting a criminal testify. Besides if the feds thinks it is all connected they in most cases would asked that the cases be transferred to federal court and not say county for example.

and that cant be the case because they are allowing 1 of the 2 suspects in the case testify against the other to shorten his time. so they aren't going to shorten the time of 2 criminals (TI and one of the murder suspects) to nail just one of them.
