Self Confessions Of A Poet

tha life of this poets been hard tho some dont no it..had high expectations but was bound to blow it//
at times i was a bit confused..mentally abused but i new my skill needed to be used//
went from tha hott kid da illest to JayV da once respected...now forgotten emcee//
now on tha right track and thats a fact got my mind right and my dreams behind my back//
past is past and thats behind its time to find tha skill that i once so proudly shined//
with hopes higher than before and dreams that are bound to soar i write some more//
now tha stars are my only boundry...cause when i write poetry like birds i feel free,open like tha sea//
those who have doubt will be prooven wrong as i write this song to show da skillz which ive possed for so long//
they were hiddin by my stupidity..juss took time to see that i was loosin my writting ability//
now tha kid who once wrote for himself has returned,with tha many things ive heard and learned//

We do know each other I-BO, we homiez. Our board is Priority, and its too damn slow, and its being flooded with whack shit from conceited ass rookies. So, I went ta Aftermatchmusic.com since I like Dre's shit, and I found this board, and told ma homiez. We ain't invadin cuz...we just droppin flowz.

Yo, when you up something just make your "uppin" post then "Remove" it (see the little button on the right just above each of your posts?). This way you'll up the topic without freeposting (because you won't get credit for any posts that have been "removed" in your post count). As for your verse...

Not bad shit at all. You've got some nice multis (though some do seem a little "played out" by emcees) and I can really appreciate the emotion in this piece. My only complaint is that your vocab is pretty ordinary.
