Em is "supposably" dropping Feb 09 now, but that aint gonna happen, dudes got no single or anything out. 50 is also is suppose to drop Jan-Feb and he prob will if he drops another 2 singles by then. Who knows wtf is going on with Dre, but we'll be lucky to see Bishop come out next year!!!

lets just for the sake of it, that bishop's album will drop.....

if it drops, then it will definately only drop after detox, because bishop will not to get exposure by being on dre's album, and i think that if interscope were really serious about bishop lamont, then they would get him on the eminem record. he needs to feature on other interscope albums and not just detox. if he doesnt, then that just shows that he aint good enough to feature on other peoples albums on interscope beside's dre's album who he is supposedly a protege of. its not a good look if other artists on interscope wont throw hima bone to feature on their albums too.

and i dont believe he will feature on anybody else's album besides detox, so interscope arent really serious about trying to market bishop.

and i dont think detox will ever come out, coz dre keeps pushing his album back for every artist that decides they want to release an album, and then gives the beats hes made for detox to them, and he has to start all over again, and then the same things happens.
i'm not sure if dre realises this or not, but i dont think he can be an executive producer/producer for the artists on his label, and be an artist himself. he cant be both, so its natuiral that he falls back from being an artist, and becomes just a executive producer/producer

Once again, it sounds like everyone is jumping up and down trying to play "I know the industry" on the Internet and Bishop being dropped is the only conclusion anyone can come up with. Common sense kind of says if you have two of the biggest artists in the game about to drop and a third album, the most anticipated in hip-hop, all dropping on the same label within the next year that the immediate plan is probably not in breaking a new artist but once that first of those three albums drops and the Soundscan numbers come in, it's a different story. It's the comfortable bet to say that Bishop is over but it's such a ridicilous example of jumping the gun. Wait until 50 and Em come and then see what happens. They're not gonna start promoting a new artist under a questionable situation with music sales, they're gonna play the big names first.

i think Jimmy H is exactly right but that means a really long wait for bishop. the game was able to come out but he did have a lot of support from 50. since then numerous artists, all of whom are way more talented than game, have 'left' or jumped ship from the 'math. even busta rhymes, who has a proven track record and easy crossover appeal couldn't work things out. doesn't look good but hopefully things do change.

again he's right that it will all come down to how excited people get about these new releases and the respective sales :0

with the sales these days, economy and all that politics, Bishop will never drop, wit that Grow Up shit, he would sell around 50 000 to date, I am sure Jimmy is aware of that and Not even thinking of dropping his wack ass album.

They need to be signed, and to be signed, u need to give the label something good so they know that if they invest 250 000 into promo and Radio Shit, they are gonna get it back

i think alot of folks here would like 2 see bishop get dropped because haters like 2see people not succeed...u should be behind him because he has an opportunity 2 bring light 2 the west..but of course what would the west be if we didnt hate on own? actually from what im hearing everything is good with bishop at aftermath and dre is behind him 100% and no this is not speculation this came from someone who works at aftermath.  from what im hearing dre is also workin with taje on detox and taje is a beast so im excited about detox. bishop is not gettin dropped..he is comin out..and aftermath is gonna be on top again..mark my words.  haterz may respond now..lol..i know they will

I think Bishop would be smart enough to realise that he's never coming out with an album on Aftermath and release his shit elsewhere ASAP to capitalise on the buzz he's generated so far....

...but there's no sign of any discontent from Bishop so I don't think he's done with Interscope just yet.

Besides, isn't Em's album supposed to be finished up this month, with Dre back on Detox in January?

I reckon 50 will drop first in Feb, Em in late March and then... who knows?

how can you succeed if you have no material to succeed with??? YOU THINK people here gonna wait another 6-9 months and keep hearing his Bragging and Cocky talk how great and dope he is??? Everybody brags, but at least niggaz drop albums.

I start to think THAT Game leaving Aftermath was actually a good chioce, he might even be able to drop 4th album before Bishop does.
