chad,
you have any idea of the leftovers traxx for any of the face albums?

Yeah they are made up of My Balls & My Word and My Homies II. And don't be surprised if another "new" Scarface album drops this new from Rap-A-Lot either.

I think he meant unreleased leftovers (correct me if I'm wrong  ;)).... anyway, like D-Nice said; a lot of leftovers was used for those two projects.
I see a another leftover album coming in near future too.... lets see what happens with his new project first (collabo album with; ..... yet to disclosed)

Yeah J Prince has no problem using leftover tracks for other projects.

I never thought it went gold. It flopped either way, Def Jam did little to no promo for that album. That was a slap in the face to Scarface, no pun intended.

Ah, flop. Ya Def Jam didn't really promote. "My Block" is a damn classic though. At least it went Gold off the strength of that and his loyal fan base.

Didn't promote The Fix? Those Kanye West tracks was all over the radio and mixtapes..... + got 5/5  :-X >:( in The Source. Strange.

Yeah it got that and he got lyricist of the year but to me those accolades came later and really did not help the album out that much, Well apparently more than I thought because it at least went gold, but I just felt like Def Jam dropped the ball on the promo. I knew the project was dropping only because I went on their website everyday.

That album kind of bridged some gaps with old and new Scarface fans. And by me saying this it is not a diss to any new Face fans but, those introduced to Face around this time The Fix is there 1st memory of him. And normally you can spot it if you ask someone what they think of Scarface. More recent fans will almost always reference The Fix. Fans of his older material like me or Chad will always reference his earlier work and reference people to that work. "Oh well if you like the Fix you will love (insert earlier album here). So in that sense The Fix opened Face up to a broader audience.

I don't see anything too special about "The Fix"

it had it's collection of good tracks but it's my least favorite in his catalog to be honest
