MGMT would be my number 1 then im not sure maybe atmosphere, i don't think i could fit the Game in my top 10, but it's been a year since ive been able to listen to a whole album and love it the way i have MGMT's and that last album was Blu & Exile

FUCK. I couldn't this list have come out a couple weeks earlier because they played here in Toronto on December 5th. I just missed them.

ya MGMT is deffinately the break out artist of the year. Soooooooooooooooooooo catchy

rolling stone has a weird connection with hip hop music, i think they feel they would be looked at as biased if they didnt review, and throw their albums on their lists, so they skim the popular albums coming out and involve them into the mix

The Knux. They are that rap group that dude mentioned. I downloaded their album and liked most of it. They are two guys from New Orleans who apparently compose and play everything on their album. A lot of guitar heavy tracks too.
