I'm def feelin that beat - Preme is def switchin it up a bit, but it's still Preme.  Royce's "Shake This" joint was a diff sound for Preme as well, but I fuckin loved that shit.

I think for that reason alone, aside from 99.9% of his beats being incredible, he is one of the best and still is

if anything it speaks volumes, he's using basically the same formula that he did after he was doing all that jazz sampling

now after all that time passing he's still at it going real hard with beats, like guy said you always know a Premier beat

u can tell its a preme beat without even reading the credits tho. I can always tell if a beat is done by premo, dj quik, j dilla, dre, 9th wonder, cuz they all ahve their own style.

But all of them switched up their style EXCEPT Premo.  I don't wanna sound like 1 of those bitch niggas in the rap songs we worship but this niggas 15 minutes is way past 19.

i dont agree with you. To say that premo is past his prime is straight nonsense man. Yes its easier to tell a premo beat from anyone else but thats partly because hes the only muthafucka that scratches in his records anymore!
