Dr. Dre is the best producer IMO.
Quik is good and maybe in the year 2005 Quik is even better than Dre.
But if you look back, than Dr. Dre don't got competition.

Dj Quik Is a MUSICIAN. He can play isntruments by himself unlike dre who uses other people for such things as bass and keyboards etc. Dj Quiks production is alot more multi-layered than dres simple approach. Also Rhythmalism is where dj quik didnt rely on samples so that was a big plus in my standards. Dre relies too much on samples
