Raptalk.Net hooked up with Big Gates R&B singing sensation, Chris J for an exclusive interview. Our readers and fans should be familar with Chris from his hook on the latest Plies smash single, "Put It On Ya." It is that very song in which Chris J has been introduced to a mainstream audience, and needless to say it was quite the proper introduction.

Chris spoke to us about his childhood upbringing in the streets of North Memphis, Tennessee where his mother was tragically shot and killed.
