I'm in the process of buying a new car within the next two weeks.  Now I know i want an Impala i just can't decide which year.  I really really love the 94-96 body but am afraid of costly repairs and GAS!!    Now another year I am looking at is the 2000-2005 model.  I like them just not as much.  I need your guys opinion. 

Ps.  I'm willing to spend $6500

1st of all, shout of shark tank, east ridge, raging waters and all that....

second..you're looking to pay a little more for gas if you get an american but don't trip, having a v8 kicks ass when you can mash fast and ride in luxury,with about 20 cubic feet trunk space, trust me i've bought American sedans from the jump. a chevy will do you right man but as far as your predicament i'd go with the later modesl, they're different than the old ass rear wheel drives and won't cause you such a pain in the ass real talk.
