has anyone from SoCal been to Tijuana recently?

I am thinkin about goin to Tijuana for a couple of days but I dunno whether its safe. Is the violence still prevalent or have things calmed down?
what other places would you recommend me to go?

I live in SD, but aint been to TJ in a while. But yah, its still supposed to be pretty fucked up down there..

Culiacan (or everywhere in the sinaloa area) is pretty safe,just like guadalajara and ciudad juarez  ;)

I live in San Diego too, but there's no way I'm going down there anytime soon. 6,800 murders last year, fuck that.
