Eazy-E; Impact of a Legend

-"Intro"
No rating

-"Eazy 1, 2, 3" featuring Phalos Mode, Loesta
3/5 straight,nothing special....

-"Cock The 9" featuring Phalos Mode, Loco S.A.B., The Genie
3/5 Dope beat,the hook sucks

-"Switchez"   Roc Slanga
 :P

-"The Rev (Skit)"
No rating... funny skit though  ;)

-"No More Tears" featuring Sacraphyce, Phalos Mode, The Genie
3/5... cool

-"Ruthless Life" featuring Loesta, Cashim
 :P

-"Still Fuckem" featuring The Genie, Paperboy, Phalos Mode
3/5 yeah,yeah

Overall;
2.5/5  :P :P :P :P
Shit is alright.... but Tomica and/or Rhythm D should have sold the vocals to Dre,Cube,Ren and/or Yella instead so they could include Eazy-E´s vocals for future NWA songs.

Interesting take on this cd.  It's definitely not in the same league as Eazy's other cds, but the overall set with the dvd and everything are still quite nice.  Personally, here's what I'd rate the cd:

1. Eazy 1,2,3,   4/5  Probably the best track on the cd, which I guess makes it's inclusion as the first track, a little anti-climactic.

2. Cock the 9   3.5/5 Another one of my personal favorites on this cd, but I said the previous track was the best, so I can't hardly justify giving this one the same rating.

3. Switchez  3.5/5  I like the track, overall.  It's nice to hear a more complete version with two Eazy verses.  I know some disagree, but I think Roc Slanga's verse is fine too.

My biggest problem with this is Rhythm D's production doesn't sound quite as good on this version as his first attempt on Mack 10's "Recipe" album.

4. The Rev  ---- Yeah.  I have to agree that it would be pointless to give this a rating.  Pretty funny skit, but doesn't need to be rated.

5. No More Tears  2.5/5  After hearing the R.I.P. track with this Eazy verse off the Nytowl album, I just couldn't get into this version.  The production wasn't bad, but
it still couldn't keep my interest.

6. Ruthless Life 1.5/5 Pointless remix.  And it doesn't hold a candle to the original version from "Str8 off tha Streetz of Muthaphukkin' Compton."

7. Still Fuck 'Em  4/5  I'm kind of glad this track was on here last.  It kind of saves the second half of the album from completely tanking.  The production on here is dope.
Even the guest appearances sound pretty good on this one.  However, if I had an opportunity to hear the original with the MC Ren verse, I'm sure I'd
probably prefer it to this one.

Final Thoughts:  Rhythm D's production is on point, but the e.p. is very guest heavy which kind of makes it come across as more of a compilation to promote the artists on
his label.  I would have preferred that if they had to add guests that they went with more of the artists like MC Ren, Dresta and Dirty Red, or even Bone.
Maybe if the acapellas are available, a dj will remix this project someday, and do something like that.

Overall 3.5/5

ayo Chad Vader, D~Nice or anyone else: i don't own Eazy's 5150 LP, but do the credits say anything about the writers?
did MC Ren write Neighborhood sniper?
Ren is on the song + i can picture him rapping Eazy's verses
