Yeah I broke this out when I made that post...hadn't listened to it from front to back in literally years.  This album is extremely dope - it is an east coast classic.  It had a HUGE single w/ "Still Not a Player" - I remember seeing that vid back in like 98 for the first time and I'm like "where the fuck did this dude come from?"

Weren't the other singles "You Came Up" and "Twinz"?  Thats what a lot of the young bucks don't understand about Hip Hop.  I'm always hearing cats on hear say shit like "it's pretty good for a commercial single".  That mentality drives me nuts - cats think a single needs to fit in some little formulaic box.  That's a huge reason why the game is so fucked up because everything sounds the same.  I remember when the singles used to be the dopest songs on the album.  Nowadays it's not uncommon for them to be the wackest shit on the album.  Nas' last album is a prime example of that - dumbfuck execs try to pair Nas w/ Polow, Chris Brown, Keri Hilson and cram that shit in the middle of an incredibly political and thought provoking album.  Drives me nuts.

10 years ago cats like Pun would drop some hard ass shit like "Twinz" as a single.  Now? Not so much.

I honestly can't knock this album for anything.  Pun is simply amazing, production is fantastic, guest spots worked perfect.
