Never really rated mark morrison to be honest seems to have lived off return of the mack/raw/row affiliation.

Well, it's more or less Mark really believed in this album. That's why we've been stuck with a few Innocent Man's. Lol. Soul Mechanix and Meech did an awesome job on this remix. I don't believe honestly there is anyone else Mark would have rather worked with because they turned out a banger and were so professional about it. Props to Meech Wells and Soul Mechanix as well as Eastwood, Kokane, Dirty Black, and anyone else who is on a version of this track!

Keep your comments coming

its kool, but why follow the "standard" formula and aint this song like 10yrs in?

Nah, I think you are thinking of Return Of The Mack.

Naw, I just wanna hear something different.  How many "innocent mans" you done heard already u know?  (black folx is fucked up but not all that depressed lol) and the beat sounds like something straight outta Akon's jukebox.  Just bcuz it sells, doesnt mean it sells for everybody u kno.  I didnt hear enough "thickness" in it, nothing that made my head just rock away besides the bass, but it does bang tho.- i cant lie.  It's just that 'sound' sounds good for some artist but not all.  But dont let my opinion on this tick u off.  Throw an electric guitar crying in there or a live bass guitar and you'll have an idea of wat I'm saying.  I fuck wit it but it just sounds like a beat we've already heard before (especially that snare break down, use something real instead of digital).  Replay those synths live (like record the keyboard onto the track instead of it sounding like it's been recorded thru reason).  But good luck wit it.

The Bass, Kick and clap are bangin! What thickness you talking about? The analog synths aren't big enough for you? Meech even pulled out the old school Prophet and all that...

I did say that the beat banged nigga I was just saying do it more original (if you cant accomplish a different sound then hire some musicians and keyboard players).  Really it does sound like a DJ Khaled/Akon/TPain/Rick Ross type of track.  I gotta ear for this shit trust me.  Like when Dre/Hutch first started using the whiny synths when noone was using it, then all of a sudden it was on every record.  That same theory can be applied to what I'm saying.  I guess it's not really all that bad if this is just for promo but you could still go for a more organic sound rather than use Gigastudio/Refills/ and other sound banks.  I liked the synths, it's just why not use something more "old school" sounding or more orchestrated.  And the thickness I was talking about was about the "fullness" of the synths (like a UGK record know wat i'm sayin).

Hey Mr. Morrison I'm thinking & & are more of your sound instead of this.  It sounds to "new school" if you know what I'm sayin' (that sound isn't meant for everybody).  Maybe you should try a more sexier sound even with a song like this.

Ouch... You trying to put that man to bed...

Haha!  :( but no  ???  his voice just goes wit music like that I can hear it in my head

Pain is one of the best artist to come out in a while, All original and he dont need nobody to write his songs or make his beats and he makes GOOD number 1 records.
Original? Explain me what is so original in his crapbucket. Crappy people usually don't use writers if they are already sellin with bullshit.

something tells me no matter how many facts and opinions i put to you,  you still wont accept it

Something tells me that you don't even know what is original and you just love their swag or wtf they call it.

Swag tho.  Folks who have a problem with the word swag in 2009 are either 45 with ED, a lame's lame, or just faggot's cum catcher.

No problem East, I personally know Mark was happy for you to do a verse on the track. Your verse was nothing short of amazing. Best track of 2009.
