The New Movement....Super Groups? (example slaughter house?)
« on: February 06, 2009, 10:57:21 PM »
seems like rappers themselves are gettng worried now adays with fans loosing interest on em n shit . but i think what cats like crooked , joel o, royce n budda are doing is great, grabs peoples attention but they're just the latest rappers to form a power house ,  here's a list of the ones on top of my head

strong arm steady ( i think they the first ones , at least as recent as 02/03 that started it with krondon, xzibit, phil da ag n mitchy slick all coming from different camps)

expensive taste ( members paul wall , skin head rob , and travis p coming from even different genres)

La Coka Nostra ( no need to speak on it , slaine is the shit)

The idea has been around for a while its just none of them have gone all out and put as much effort as slaughterhouse has done so far.

agree with u . when it comes to these 4 groups i've seen pretty much all of them members put more effort in their solo albums which i dont blame em, than a group project . too bad cuz these guys all rock but will we even see one album as group??

Western union and warzone are far from super groups.you might as well call every single group that's ever formed a super group

Bottom line is it is a group. If we are talking about a "super" group the last one hyped up like that would be The Firm or Westside Connection. Cube, Face and Nas if it where to ever happen would be one also.
