^he was the lead singer in Led Zepplin lol.

but the performance you heard tonight from him is not the way you want to know him anyway. :P
wasnt LZ a hardcore rock group? lol..that was some soft shit he was performin..

It was a roots album. Plant was notorious for his love of the blues, rockabilly, and American roots music back when he joined Led Zeppelin. That's why he finally decided to make an album that features that kind of music, and he did it with two other great lovers of the old sound. It was a phenomenal album. Definitely better than anything Coldplay is capable of making. I almost wished it wasn't even nominated it was too good for these shitty awards.

That being said it was a safe winner and not cutting edge at all, but that's what the Grammy's are all about. Pick any genre of album and look at every single Album of the year and see how many really ever broke new ground. 90% of them have no business even being among the different sound is the day I start thinking they should be taken seriously.

I'll take Infinite's top 10 albums of 08 more seriously than this year's grammys.

TI's performance was dope.  The instruments sounded far superior than the cd version.

I thought all of the nominees for best rap album was dope.  I bump all the cds.  Wayne deserves it.  See how many times his shit got leaked?  He still released a banger.

Wayne's performance was underwhelming.  Robin didn't sound like he was singing at all.

Coldplay ain't all that.  I don't get the love.

TI's performance was wack... he has his studio vocals playing back behind his live voice... but he was way off. his swagger like us verse was the worst too - he was hype but skipped over half the verse, lol  :P

no hate no hate. jt sounded great

Could care less about CB, but him beating Rihanna black n blue, like media are reporting now, is interesting.
