Well, that was pretty much what they were trying to say on the FTP message board. What I think actually happened, is that they had these tracks they'd been sitting on for years, but when someone else (Los Skanless) started talking about selling his copy, they rushed to make a project out of the tracks they had, because they realized if Los Skanless beat them to the punch, the songs they had wouldn't be worth anything (at least the ones that were on both projects). But then when Los Skanless cancelled his project, they realized they could go back to just sitting on these tracks. You'll read a lot of conspiracy theories on here, and who knows, but in my opinion that's what I think happened. Their notion that it was haterizin' to me is textbook definition of lame-ass excuse.

Does anyone have the radio rip of the Hot 97 version that they can up? I think I had this a long-ass time ago, but I'm sure I deleted it because back then I think I though it was going to be the same as the cdq version that eventually leaked, which ended up being the Daren Vegas version.

I mean if so, they would have played the radio cut. I mean, DJs make mistakes all the time and play the explicit version, but maybe there was only an explicit version.
