One thing I've noticed, most people who stay high A LOT and claim to not let it interfere with their life, tend to occupy the lower echelon in their work and social status. If Sik wants to be a successful doctor, then an every day weed habit will almost undoubtedly have some negative effect.

if he's a weak minded individual, yes...and most people ARE weak minded individuals. but there's definitely a way to be just as successful and smoke weed daily in the process. it all depends on whether you control your mind or whether you let your mind control you.

maybe it's just not the best thing to do?

See, I know where this all went wrong. In the past I have said that I was "scared" of weed. But let me clarify: I am scared of the repercussions I would face if I happened to get busted with it. I have no fear of the substance itself. I drink, I've smoked cigarettes, but neither have had a control on me, but neither will fuck up my spotless record either. I know weed wouldn't get me hooked, and I never said that I wouldn't EVER try it.

How about this: as soon as I get this shit done and my career is finally off to a start, I'll give you the privilege of being the first person to smoke me out. I'm dead serious if you're down.

@ Tommy and the rest of Krs's street team...Yes he is a legend. I will give him that but dudes put him on a pedestal that he is unworthy of. i personally dont feel any of his shit. his ego outweighs the positives. arguin with a krs fan is like arguin with a nba fan stuck in the 90's always bringin up MJ. his time has passed,now he's just bitter tryin to kick knowledge no one wants to hear. As far as BIG and Pun...yes they were good but neither one's catalog was that deep. im not really gonna argue the greatness but obviously the untimely deaths are more responsible for the legendary status rather than their mic skills.

I personally feel he is worthy of being on the pedestal he is on.  You have a point that his ego and self righteousness outweighs what he is doing now a days, but that doesn't take away the great music he has made in the past and his influence he has on the game.  And for the record I don't think Kris is bitter at all.  I think he just loves hip hop and hates the direction the industry has taken.  Which is something majority of hip hop heads feel, but no one calls them bitter.  And it's hard to argue with people about Krs-1 and the NBA in the 90'S b/c well its no comparison... KRS-1 and the NBA in the 90's >>>> now a days     I gotta disagree with you on the legendary status with Big and Pun.  You don't really hear to many people mention Pun as a legend, but the fact he is the first platinum selling latin rapper and with his skill set is enough to cement his legend status in my eyes.  In Bigs case you have an argument that his death made him bigger than what he was, but he was quickly on his way to become a legend if he was not one at alreadyl.  You're not called the King of New York by mistake.
