Interned there in college, they hired me on full time after graduation.  All in all, I've been there for over 7 years.  I used to be very proud of my job and the success that I had with it.  However, I have truly not been happy there since summer 05.  The only reason I stayed on is because they were paying me well.  Well money doesn't motivate me like it used to.   

I'm taking what money I have left (I've blown through LOTS of dough in the past year), either selling, storing, or trashing the majority of my possessions and I'm gonna travel for a little while.  I want to see the country / world.  My lease on my condo is up at the end of the month and so my journey will start pretty soon.  I don't have a set agenda, but I'm likely gonna stay in the states at least for several months because I am in my friends wedding and shit like that.  But outside of that, I have yet to formulate a strict plan. 

And hell, because of dubcc I'm international as hell - we got people all over the world on here.  So hopefully some of you cats could show a brotha some love and show me around your city or what not.  Holler at the kid if you're down.

with the economy now, you NEED a job, because finding another one (with almost that pay) is no walk in the park.

bad move, imo, but if you would rather be happy then props to you for having the balls to quit your job in todays world lol.

I think u should have saved up some more money and stayed with ur job... Take a vacation for 3 weeks to some nice place.. LOL.. but in any case, have fun..  ;)

BTW we are in the worst economic climate since the great depression and I got a raise today lol.
