« on: March 26, 2009, 12:30:15 PM »
real thought for the day... I want to detox and sweat everything out.. I want to clear my head and clean up the dirt... I want to gain knowledge and natural positive perspectives.. I want to win.. I want to be comfortable.. I want to be content.. I just want to be pure.. I just want to be pure... :coffee:

actually maybe not. :coffee: indeed

for real i'm heavily into detoxing and so forth lately and i know some people who are vegans and feel really yucky if they have any dairy products or meats or shit. it makes you wonder if the shit we put in our bodies is really good for it. got another person i know who lives on this 'supergreen' stuff. dude is like superman strength wise...

Yeah I absolutely want to get to where I can be Vegan.  It's very savage to eat meat.  We call it meat, but in reality it's flesh we're eating.  Especially when you consider how much steroids and growth hormone they inject in chicken and beef, it's def not good for you to ingest that.

Ultimately I can't wait till the day that I'm not getting blunted and drunk all the damn time.  I have so much fun doing that, but it's all very bad for you both physically and spiritually.

It'll take mad discipline to get there though.  You gotta take baby steps - start weening yourself from these things.  Cold turkey is not healthy, just start limiting intake, then skip a day, then a couple days a week, and before you know it - you're free.

not sure if i could ever be vegan myself depends on if the feeling is that much better. but 60% of our bodies energy that would normally be used for keeping us fresh and in good health is used for digestion when we eat shit. meat and red meat in particular takes a hell of a lot more work.

ideally meat every once in a while and just fish most the time would be ideal. the real killer is processed sugars and carbohydrates that feed any nasty shit that can live in our bodies...

I dont wana be a vegan but I have def given into some thought about being a vegeterian.. Im not just talking about food, although a heavy portion of it is.. Im talking about drugs, smoke, alcohol, food, thoughts, etc. I dont want to live life completely sober either but I def wana clean out my system.. I dont do drugs 24/7 I do them about once or twice a month but even thats taking its tole on my brain.. I honestly just wana get cleaned out.

well on paper not doing drugs is a much easier process than changing ones diet in a considerable way. you just stop taking the drugs

there's a lot of different shit out there on ways to 'detox' and improve well being though. ever had a colonic?

tai chi and chinese health remedies are really good things for all kinds of reasons too.

They inject human growth hormones (hgh) in vegetables as well. And I know all the organic crap, but they just busted some safeway stores in Seattle and Vancouver claiming to be sellling organic shit when it was biochemically grown.

lol indeed. you know how get eggs that are 'free range' and most ppl will buy 'em cause normal eggs are from 'battery hens' which is extremely cruel on the animals. i know someone who raises chickens on a 'free range' farm and the only difference is that the chickens have a few cm more room to move than the battery ones. that's really the only difference, still no party for the chickens.

the only true organic, free range foods are the ones that you actually grow yourself or if you know in which particular markets to shop.

the whole food issue is a giant 'conspiracy'. there is too much stuff on fda supression and all the artificial crap they put in most 'eadible' stuff to even scratch the surface in a post.

^Nice, i actually laugh at people who claim to be eating healthy by being vegetarians. The only vegetarians that are eating healthy are growing there own stuff but that still does not necessarily mean that one is eating healthy especially if you're neighbor is one of those old mushroom/weed hating fucker, whose whole lawn is a breeding ground for pesticides and chemicals all of which are seeping into your soil. Then you are definitely not eating healthy even by growing your own stuff.

DDT is yummy.  Shop at whole foods or grow your own shit.  Chemicals in veggies is still better than in animals.  Eating animals is cannibalistic.

moving to hawaii and eating produce grown purely on volcanic soil would be the absolute bomb. even my grandad's cucumbers are completely unlike anything i've ever had before in a supermarket including their 'organic' ones. funny example i know but the cucumbers he grows are giant and delicious and the 'organic' ones in a store are generally even smaller than the normal ones. something don't add up...

but i'm interested in this 'supergreen' stuff too, a lot of health nuts are on it. i got a friend who's well on it supposedly it gives your body all the nutrients you need in a mega healthy way. this dude can do insane amounts of press-ups without even breaking a sweat, so....

Even though i do believe that supergreen stuff gives your body all the nutrients. I got peeps at my dojo who do insane amount of pressups without breaking a sweat as well. Some of these dudes do eat healthy but not supergreen stuff which leads me to assume that theres a lot more to doing pressups without breaking a sweat than eating supergreen food.

sure, but i think it does prove the point that a weird green sludge can actually give your body all it needs for optimal performance. most people wouldn't believe it for a nanosecond.

I don't think he was making a direct cause / effect w/ sweating and supergreens, just a sidebar noting that his friend, whom can do lots of pushups w/o sweating has supergreens as a part of his diet.
